Jonathan is specialised in typography and conceptual packaging design and has worked within all packaging categories the last five years, but with his main focus on the consumer category and concept development.
He has worked with everything from small niche brands to supermarkets and big international organisations.
Besides a BA in visual communication from The Danish School of Media and Communication he is also an educated sign painter and has mainly been working with old techniques such as silk screen printing and hand painted signs and gables. His time as sign painter introduced him to the craft behind typography and it is now one of his biggest passions. It’s a passion he uses to maintain the connection between craftsmanship and design.
The combination of good craftsmanship and graphic design has created the fundament of his design approach and Jonathan believes that the best design is a blend of genuine craft, consumer insight and strategy.
