A packaging redesign of "Frem" which is a danish soft drink factory. I did twelve unique bottles and some extra packaging just to show how their full identity could look like. The factory was established in 1949 and I have focused on history, craftmanship and authenticity. All the typography is hand drawn and the labels are white paint directly on the bottle – reveal rather than hide. The twelve display fonts are made from associations, cliches, shapes and so on. Raspberry and pear are for instance inspired by the shape of the fruit/berry and Cola is an american cliche with a typical western wood type.
A little project I've been working on in the late hours. It's an extension of my monoline font East Wood which is available at Tendollarfonts.com. I was inspired by roman engravings and old wood types. Right now I'm working on the last details before I can publish it online as an open type font.
A packaging project for something as simple as Earl Grey. Simply because I'm tired of Chai latte.
A portuguese book cover I did for fba
The title is: Luck is Hard Work. Therefore the gear and the little clover.
Logo and visual guide lines for a smaller festival out in the woods with music, cold beer and good people.
POP UP køkken KBH (in english: POP UP kitchen COPENHAGEN) is a restaurant concept/event in Copenhagen. The restaurant has no fixed location and the number of guests is very limited since the kitchen pops up at galleries and other small locations.
The logotype is static but with a dynamic touch so the organizers can fill in address, menu and other informations on their own.
I've given myself a challenge. Make some sort of lettering every day. It keeps me in shape and it's very intimidating to upload something that is full of mistakes and hasn't been through a computer. On the other hand it's very relaxing and almost meditative.
Enjoy!
An vinyl cover for one of my favorite bands – just for fun. The display type is hand drawn and I'm currently working on the rest of the letters to make the font complete.
A monoline and fully functional open-type mainly for display purpose. It's inspired by old wood types from the classic western-movies.
Eastwood consists of one weight(regular) with uppercase, lowercase, figures and more or less all glyphs.
Di Napoli - a restaurant and take away as well. The identity is inspired by the biggest passion in Napoli. Soccer. But also tradition and the italian gentleman. The light blue logo is a shape between a napkin and a "N".
Honest Ice Cream is not organic or healthy...
A visual identity with an honest and humoristic approach based on colourful illustrations.
Is it possible to make something delicious and food appealing while shouting out what companies in general tries hide? I think it is.
A project full of mistakes.
I've tried to embrace imperfectness with this lino cut project. I'm used to work with silk screen print where every little detail is sharp and perfect because of the preparing work on the computer.
With lino cutting you don't know what you get until the paint hits the paper. It's terrifying when you are used to cmd+z. But if you accept all the mistakes and let it be a part of the expression you get refreshing and different result.
A packaging redesign of Panda – a liquorice company. Panda is a world famous liquorice brand with a not so famous packaging/identity.
Liquorice is for children and grown ups as well, so the design should appeal to both groups. I've tried to do that with the panda illustration combined with minimalism.
The panda is for the children and the clean minimalism is for the adults.
The idea with the box is that children can collect, stack and then build an tiny panda.
I've made the two most common flavours: Salty and Sweet
This is a a personal project
A small tribute project to my all time favorite sneakers. A simple stroke illustration combined with a colorful gradient.
My three "must read" books. Made with illustrations that objectifies the book.
Regina is a Portuguese chocolate brand founded in 1928. Their products are delicious but their identity really needs some love. I have focused on the logo and packaging.
The logo is combined with the flavour. As you see every flavour has it's own unique logo. Combined with the colours you get a new product which stands out. Logo and flavour-text is hand drawn. The rounded corners and swushes is a reference to their history and what it's all about – chocolate.
This is a personal project
A poster for the soccer fans with all the games and groups in the World Cup 2014
